WE ARE BLESSED AND THANKFUL for ALL of the teachers who prepare lessons and teach our children at Sunday School! We are also thankful for teenagers who volunteer to help in the Sunday School.
Children's Stewardship - CELIA, the Sunday School's foster child who lives in Bolivia is 11 years old and has one sister and two brothers. She likes playing with dolls, dancing and games. She helps out at home running errands. She walks to her primary school each day, where she loves painting. Each week at Sunday School at St. Jude's we shall have a collection and our offerings will go to her and her community.
Please pray for Celia and her family.
For food in a world where many walk in hunger, For faith in a world where many walk in fear, For friends in a world where many walk alone, We give you humble thanks, O Lord.
RAINBOWS
From Hurting through Healing to Hope
Rainbows programs give children (ages 5 - 14) dealing with a divorce, death or some kind of loss a chance to process what is going on in their lives in a safe, confidential atmosphere guided by trained adult facilitators who are committed to helping kids work through their thoughts, feelings, and struggles in a healthy, supportive way. Rainbows is an international not-for-profit organization that fosters emotional healing among children grieving a loss from a life-altering crisis.
