DESCRIPTION:THE STORY WE’RE IN\nA Six‑Week Exploration of the Christian
Story at St. Jude’s\nMeeting weekly at 7 PM in St. Jude's Victoria Hall
\, beginning Wednesday\, March 11\, 2026.\nA story big enough for all of u
s\nEvery one of us lives by a story — a way of making sense of the world
\, our lives\, our longings\, and our place in it. Some stories lift us up
. Some stories weigh us down. Some stories we inherit without ever choosin
 g them.\nThe Story We’re In is a gentle\, conversational six‑week jou
rney into the Christian story — a story big enough to hold the world’s
beauty and its brokenness\, and personal enough to speak to your own life
with honesty and hope.\nThis is not a course to “sell” Christianity o
r pressure anyone into belief. It’s a space to explore\, to wonder\, to
ask questions\, and to discover how the biblical story might make sense of
the world you live in.\nYou don’t need church experience.\nYou don’t
need the right words.\nYou don’t need to believe anything before you wal
k in the door.\nYou already belong in the story.\nWhat to Expect\nEach gat
hering includes:\n\nA warm welcome and light refreshments\nA short\, engag
ing teaching segment\nA story or illustration that brings the theme to lif
e\nOpen‑ended conversation around your tables\nA moment of quiet reflect
ion\nA simple practice to carry into the week\n\nThe tone is friendly\, ho
 nest\, and accessible — no jargon\, no pressure\, no assumptions.\nThe S
ix Sessions\n1. The World as It Should Be (March 11)\nWhy we are drawn to
beauty\, goodness\, and purpose — and how the biblical story begins with
blessing.\n2. The World as It Is (March 18)\nWhy life feels fractured\, w
hy we feel fractured\, and why our longings for wholeness matter.\n3. The
Turning Point (March 25)\nHow Jesus enters the story as its central figure
  — healing\, restoring\, and reorienting everything.\n4. The Invitation
(Apr 8 )\nWhat it means to join the story personally: trust\, belonging\,
and a new way of living.\n5. The Future of the Story (April 15)\nThe Chris
tian hope of renewal — not escape — and how God’s future shapes our
present.\n6. Your Chapter (April 22)\nHow your life\, gifts\, and longings
fit into the larger story God is telling.\nWho Is This For?\n\nPeople who
are curious about faith\nPeople returning after a long time away\nPeople
hoping to explore anew what their faith means to them now\nPeople who feel
  cautious but open\nPeople looking for meaning\, grounding\, or hope\nPeop
le who want to explore Christianity without pressure\n\nIf that’s you
 — or someone you know — this is a place to breathe\, listen\, and expl
ore.\nWhy This Matters\nWe live in a world full of competing stories — s
 tories about success\, identity\, fear\, achievement\, scarcity\, and self
‑creation. Many of us feel pulled in a dozen directions at once.\nThe Ch
ristian story offers a different way of seeing:\na world created in goodne
ss\, broken by real pain\, healed through love\, and moving toward renewal
.\nAnd it invites you to find your place within it.\nJoin Us\nSt. Jude’s
  Anglican Church\, Oakville\nSix weekly sessions\nWarm\, welcoming\, and o
 pen to all
